Sorry We've been MIA

Hello everyone and sorry for the big gap in posts.  We've been living life here.  Monster turned 3 last week and we celebrated by going to the zoo.

It's hard to believe that my baby is getting so big.  He's more independent and also "I got it" is one of his main phrases.  Not only that, but with daddy being home a lot, he is really spoiled.

I do have to give a shout out for the day care that Monster goes to.  Yesterday there was an incident where another kid clawed at Monster during nap time.  Daycare didn't call me because they knew that I wouldn't totally freak out, and they were more interested in getting the other child sent home.  When I asked about it, they said they were having a conference with the other child's parents because they said they were having this problem at home also.  So, I asked for an ouch report for my records and of course I took a pic.

Yeah, it's pretty bad but he's taking it like a trooper.  I also love that on the ouch report, they added TLC.  Of course Monster milked it for all it was worth and got TLC from everyone that works there.  Here's the report:

I've had nothing but praise since Monster started there in 2009.  At first it was when we needed it, then once a week, then twice a week, then 4 days a week and now he goes full time.  He's starting to play with other kids, but there are days when he stays by himself...on those days he doesn't get to play with his iPad.

Also, daddy finally got some disability approved from the VA.  We still have to appeal it because they said nothing about the hydrocephalus.  This is one journey that I wouldn't wish on anyone, but I wouldn't change my life.  I'm thankful for every day that I get to spend with my husband and for every day that Monster has with his daddy.  So, I'm going to try to post more often and I hope that I get more readers by doing this.

DONKEY TEES Review and Giveaway

I want to introduce you guys to a wonderful t-shirt company!!! Donkey Tees is a GREAT place to get all of your t-shirts!  I've followed them on twitter and facebook for over 2 years now, and their t-shirt designs are always top of the line!  Back in August, I won a t-shirt from them and got this one:
So, this one is perfect for me and I love it!

I have to say that these t-shirts are true to size, durable and very comfortable.  Add in the HUGE selection that they have and I'm hooked.  I wish I could get a t-shirt there every month!!!  They also have a children's line along with infants!  What more could you ask for?

The packaging? Perfect!  When you order something off of the internet you expect it to come in a box, and sometimes the mail person honks the horn or leaves that little orangish card saying that you have to go to the Post Office to get the package.  Not with Donkey Tees.  Both of my t-shirts came in a package that can easily fit into even the smallest apartment mailboxes.  Here's what Monster's t-shirt came in:

Very nice plastic envelope.  I'm sure if you order more, that you will get that dreaded box, but if it's one t-shirt, you get the nice mailbox friendly envelope.

And now, this is the t-shirt that I got for Monster:
I figure with us raising Chickens on the farm that it was only appropriate...LOL.
So, now Monster has a wonderful red shirt to go with his adorable red hair as you can see here:

So, how can you get some of these uber awesome t-shirts?
Well, you can head over to Donkey Tees and buy one for about $22 OR you can win one!
Yes, that's right, TWO lucky readers will win a $25 Code for Donkey Tees!!  Keep reading to find out how!
